Learn To Draw
I have a new idea for a sneaker and instead of using illustrator I will hand draw it. Something I have never done before. I will need a pencil and paper and about four days. I will draw 4 views of the sneaker and try to make it look as classy as possible. I will be sure to enlist the help of drawer extraordinaire Jenny Bae.

Jordan Portraits
For this project I will create portraits of sneakers on illustrator. I will divide two different shoes into parts then layer them on top of each other, and then repeat to create a sense of confusion for the viewer. I hope that at first glance it will just look like a pattern of shapes but at a second look the viewer will notice that they are looking at sneakers that have been sought after for years. I will need material wise just illustrator. I will make three pieces, and will need six different sneakers. This should take me about two weeks.

Fold Able Dining Room Chair
I will design and construct a dining room chair, and have it be able to fold. My goal is to make a visually stunning model out of balsa wood and as design page on illustrator. I will need wood, glue, a ruler and hinges. This whole process could take me two weeks maybe three I still have o think about scale.

Octopus Arm
I plan to make an octopus arm to satisfy my recent obsession with octopuses. Originally my plan was to make a 2 1/2ft tall model out of clay but, due to time restraints I will go with paper mache. I will make the suction cups out of tape and news paper and chicken wire from my frame. This project shuold take me about a week, and I will paint with spray paint. My objective is to make a center piece quality model of an octopus arm.

Gourmet Posters
I will make an on going series of promotional posters for my favorite sneaker company Gourmet. I will incorporate their sneaker’s logo and name into all of the pieces as creatively as possible. They will be larger posters probably 18×24 and it is unknown how many I will make. Depending on the detail each one should be about a week, maybe more maybe less. I will be doing them in illustrator and will mostly be doing them in my intro to graphic design class, which is just another period of portfolio because I already know the computer graphics programs. My goal with this project is to make stunning quality posters and represent gourmet well.

Emereging Sneakers
For this project i will make paper sneakers and have them appear to be coming out of canvas. I will need paper, Hot glue, 4 canvas, and 4 cans of spray paint. This will be a side project for when i am bored, or not busy doing other things. It could take any where from one week to four depending on how much time i devote to it. I think this will be a creative project and will really add to my overall display in the art show.

Sneaker Design Page
I plan to make a semi professional design sheet. I will make a design sheet of an original sneaker design I will send into Nike’s Future Sole competition. I will create views for all sides of my sneaker, and have a written piece to explain my project. My objective is to win the design competition. I will just need a computer with the illustrator program on it and 2-3 weeks. I will also make a paper model of the sneaker.

Sneaker Chandelier
With this project i will construct a chandelier out of sneaker designs. they will look like eight pairs of shoe hanging from the ceiling. i will need paper, gold spray paint, tin foil, hot clue, shoe laces and and old lamp for parts. my goal is to make a working light fixture and make it pretty enough for people to want it. it should take three to four weeks i think.
MP #2 Giant sneaker series 11.13.09
I will make four very large nike dunks. they will be quite large like fit a human in them big. I plan on them confusing a lot of people. they will be like wow dats a big shoe. this will probably take me until winter break. i will need paint, paper, glue measuring utensils and some concentration. this could very easily be my most impressive project. My objective is to make large shoes a kinda pop art project.
Wearable Sneaker
I plan to make an amazing design for an upscale designer sneaker. So far I know that I will be using the base of an old sneaker as the sole and work my way up. I plan to use duct tape and paper as the backbone/ form of the shoe for the material then so fabric over top. My goal is for people to wonder who makes them and when they expect my reply to be Nike or Lv or Gucci, they will hear oh these? I made them. I also plan to use zippers, and make a paper model before to get an idea of what the final product will look like. I plan for this to take about three weeks depending on when the sewing machine comes in.

House Model
——- I will make a model of a house out of foam board. I will make a floor plan on I will draw on graph paper. Each box on the graph paper will equal 2 inches on my project. This will make my house rather large like the size of a classroom desk. My floor plan will hopefully be functional and even more interesting. I hope to make it very detailed and to scale. I will need foam board, hot glue, balsa wood, and something to cut with. My objective is to work on a large-scale project efficiently and reach my goal of making s house with no major projects. I plan for this to take 3 weeks.
Gain Experience In Illustrator
——-With this project I will further my knowledge on illustrator. I will make numerous pieces on this program hopefully these project that wont relate to each other will become their own theme of randomness. I will continue this project and until I complete five to ten pieces of work. It will take anywhere from 10 to 20 days, and my goal is to make a group of very different pieces. The only materials I will need are my mind and a computer.
